Provider pay in 2027 in Riverside County
Agreement in place; no rate published
Riverside County's agreement with providers sets the wage at $3.00 an hour above the applicable minimum wage. The next increase it lists, to $3.83 above the minimum wage, is in May 2028, and the agreement runs through June 30, 2029. It also says wages will be adjusted if State or federal funding is reduced. The county has not published a 2027 dollar rate.
California's minimum wage rises from $16.90 to $17.40 an hour on January 1, 2027. County IHSS wages are built on the state minimum wage, so no county's rate can be lower than that.
