12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of IHSSHours.com and constitute a legally binding agreement between you and IHSSHours LLC. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing IHSSHours.com, creating an assessment, or making a purchase, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the legal guardian of a minor recipient), have the legal authority to enter into this agreement, and agree to these Terms in full.
2. Service Description
IHSSHours.com provides three educational products: The Clarity Report, an online preliminary IHSS assessment tool that generates a personalized PDF report with estimated IHSS service hours based on California's official Hourly Task Guidelines (HTG); The Appeal Package, a personalized PDF resource for recipients appealing reduced or denied IHSS hours; and the Provider Enrollment Kit, a PDF guide to becoming an enrolled California IHSS provider. Each is intended as an educational resource to help individuals prepare for an official IHSS process — the county assessment, a state hearing, or provider enrollment — and none of them replace that official process.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Not Legal, Medical, or Government Advice
The information provided in your Clarity Report or Appeal Package is based solely on the answers you provide. The accuracy of each product depends entirely on the accuracy and completeness of your responses. IHSSHours.com assumes no responsibility for outcomes resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information provided by the user.
4. Payment Terms
Access to each product requires payment in advance. Current pricing is:
- The Clarity Report: $39 (one-time, non-recurring). Includes all service categories and Protective Supervision analysis for all recipients.
- The Appeal Package: $59 (one-time, non-recurring). For recipients whose IHSS hours were reduced or denied.
- Provider Enrollment Kit: $19 (one-time, non-recurring). A guide to becoming an enrolled California IHSS provider.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you authorize us to charge the stated amount to your payment method. Prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change with notice.
5. Refund Policy
All sales are final. Because our products are delivered digitally (a PDF report or guide) upon completion of your purchase, we do not offer refunds once a product has been generated and delivered.
Exceptions may be considered at our sole discretion in cases of:
- Duplicate charges due to a technical error
- Failure to deliver the report due to a verified technical issue on our end
To request an exception, contact us at support@ihsshours.com within 7 days of your purchase.
6. Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete information when using our assessment tool. You understand that:
- The quality and accuracy of your Clarity Report or Appeal Package depends entirely on the accuracy of your responses
- Providing false or misleading information may result in an inaccurate report that does not reflect the recipient's actual needs or situation
- IHSSHours.com is not responsible for any consequences resulting from inaccurate information provided by the user
- Each product is a preliminary, educational resource only and does not replace the official county IHSS assessment process, the official state hearing process, or the official county provider enrollment process
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use IHSSHours.com for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate our assessment logic or report generation system
- Use our service to generate fraudulent IHSS documentation or misrepresent a recipient's functional abilities
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit Clarity Reports without our written permission
- Submit automated requests or attempt to access our systems through unauthorized means
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
8. Intellectual Property
All content on IHSSHours.com — including the website design, assessment logic, report templates, narrative language, and generated PDF reports — is the intellectual property of IHSSHours LLC and is protected by copyright law.
Your purchased report or guide is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may share your Clarity Report or Appeal Package with family members, caregivers, and your county IHSS social worker in connection with the IHSS application, reassessment, or appeal process. You may not reproduce or distribute any product for commercial purposes.
