What it means in California's IHSS program, in plain English.

The IHSS service category covering light housekeeping tasks done on the recipient's behalf — sweeping, mopping, dishes, changing linens, and similar chores. Domestic Services has a time guideline cap (6:00 total per month per household, with possible adjustments) rather than the per-task Hourly Task Guideline ranges used for personal care tasks.
When more than one person lives in the household, hours may be prorated based on how many household members share the benefit of the task.
