Heavy Cleaning

An IHSS task covering occasional deep-cleaning needs beyond routine light housekeeping — such as cleaning a kitchen or bathroom that hasn't been properly maintained, often due to a recipient's prior inability to keep up with chores. Heavy Cleaning is authorized separately from regular Domestic Services and is excluded from certain IHSS hour-cap calculations used for CFCO eligibility.
