Yard Hazard Abatement
What it means in California's IHSS program, in plain English.

An IHSS task limited to removing safety hazards in a recipient's yard that could prevent a provider from safely entering or exiting the home — such as overgrown walkways or debris — rather than general yard maintenance or landscaping. Like Heavy Cleaning, it's excluded from certain hour-cap calculations used for CFCO eligibility.
