The practice of dividing certain task hours (mainly Domestic Services and related shared chores) across everyone in the household who benefits from them — not just the IHSS recipient. If a recipient lives with other adults, their authorized hours for shared tasks may be reduced to reflect that the work also benefits the rest of the household.
