Pay Period
What it means in California's IHSS program, in plain English.

The half-month a timesheet covers: the 1st through the 15th, or the 16th through the last day of the month. A timesheet cannot be signed or submitted before the period ends, and timesheets sent early are not processed until it does. There are two pay periods a month, so two paychecks a month.
