Authorized Hours
What it means in California's IHSS program, in plain English.

The number of IHSS service hours per month the county approves for a recipient after the assessment, listed by service on the Notice of Action. Providers are paid only up to this total across all of a recipient’s providers. Hours are set by need and the Hourly Task Guidelines, not by how many hours a provider is available.
