Provider Enrollment
What it means in California's IHSS program, in plain English.

The steps a person completes before they can be paid as an IHSS provider: the provider enrollment form (SOC 426), a criminal background check through the Department of Justice (Live Scan fingerprinting), the provider enrollment agreement (SOC 846) and a county provider orientation. Each county runs its own enrollment through the county IHSS office or Public Authority.
