Waiver Personal Care Services (WPCS)
What it means in California's IHSS program, in plain English.

A separate Medi-Cal program that can add care hours above the IHSS monthly maximum for people enrolled in the Home and Community-Based Alternatives (HCBA) Waiver. WPCS hours are authorized by the waiver agency, not the county IHSS office, and WPCS providers follow the same workweek limits as IHSS providers.
