Regional Center
What it means in California's IHSS program, in plain English.

One of California’s 21 nonprofit agencies, under the Department of Developmental Services, that coordinate services for people with developmental disabilities. A person can have both Regional Center services and IHSS; the two are meant to work together, and IHSS is generally used first for the personal care it covers, with the Regional Center covering needs IHSS does not.
