Provider Registry
What it means in California's IHSS program, in plain English.

A list of screened, available IHSS providers kept by the county’s IHSS Public Authority for recipients who do not already have someone to hire. Registry providers have completed enrollment; the recipient still interviews, chooses and supervises them. Not every county keeps an active registry, and the registry is not a home care agency.
