Personal Care Services Program (PCSP)
What it means in California's IHSS program, in plain English.

An IHSS eligibility pathway for Medi-Cal recipients who need personal care assistance but don't require a nursing-home level of care. Most IHSS recipients who don't qualify for CFCO fall under PCSP instead. Because PCSP follows federal program rules, minors enrolled in PCSP cannot have a parent as their paid provider — though they can be transferred to CFCO at their next reassessment to allow this.
